         The Youth of Jerusalem
              May 19-20, 2007
 

The Youth have prayed and received guidance from the Holy Spirit.  They are a committed and they enjoy praising our Lord.  Prayer Brunch is Saturday, May 19, 2007 at 10:00 a.m.  Youth Day is Sunday, May 20, 2007 at 10:00 a.m.  The Annual Youth Concert is Sunday, May 20, 2007 at 4:00 p.m.  You won't want to miss the services.  Invite all the Youth you know to attend these special events with you.
 

Mother's Day is right around the corner.  Have you adopted a Mother for Sunday?  Do you know who they are?  We have 11 very special women whose lives are exemplary of a Christian Mother.  They love the Lord and they love Jerusalem.  They are devoted and they are wise.  These ladies have walked with God and they have a lot to share.  This weekend is devoted to all of the Senior Mothers of Jerusalem.  The prayer breakfast is to start at 8:30 a.m. and the ladies will be served by the Men of Jerusalem, featuring the Male Chorus.  On Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. they will celebrate another Annual Day and host everyone for a meal immediately following the services.  Our Antioch District Moderator, Dr. Duane M. Sleet will be our guest speaker for Mother's Day.  He is a dynamic speaker who loves the Lord and you should be sure to be present to witness what God has given him.  You don't want to miss this occasion.  Be sure to adopt a Mother for Sunday.
 

Monday, May 28, 2007 is Memorial Day.  This is a national day set aside to remember our loved ones who have served this country and died in the line of duty.  It was originally called Decoration Day.  We have a web page set aside just for us to remember our loved ones who have gone to be with the Lord in their line of duty.  Let's not just make Memorial Day a commercial holiday, but remember those Christians who were here with us and now have gone to wait for the Second Coming of the Lord.  Visit the Memorials Page and remember your family who's no longer here.  You are free to add comments to memorials already present.

Have you adopted a mother from the church?  They will give wisdom and life experiences so we can learn and grow from them.  Mother's Day is this Sunday, May 13, 2007.  ADOPT A MOTHER!

The Youth are maturing in Jesus.  They are bold saints and are committed to Him.  See the Youth in their song praise service.

Receive the  Bible Verse of the Day and commit them to memory.
